New Client?

All new NDIS clients will do an initial consultation to go through your needs, history, care plan and goals. This also makes sure we are the perfect match for you before continuing with our services.

After this consult you will receive a participant handbook and service agreement outlining important information about your rights and responsibilities and agreed upon fees.

NDIS Plan and Self-managed

We welcome NDIS clients for those who are plan or self-managed with the National Disability Insurance Scheme including ECEI clients.

Being plan or self-managed gives you the freedom to choose your own providers and enable you to work with Move Like Jagger as part of your plan. 

If you are NDIA (Agency) managed, unfortunately we cannot provide services to you at this time.

As a small business we have chosen not to register with the NDIS at this point in time.

The Categories we utilise funding include: 

  • Development of daily living and like skills,

  • Improved health and wellbeing,  

  • Group and Centre Based Activities, and 

  • Participation in community, social and civic activities.

Reformer Pilates

Pilates is a great form of exercise for people with disabilities, as it offers a low-impact and safe way to stay active. This exercise aims to strengthen muscles, improve core fitness and balance. Individuals with disabilities like cerebral palsy and autism may also benefit from this exercise.

Play based Activities

Move Like Jagger offers a variety of movement-based activities outside of Pilates. 

Aimed at children we have the resources to help move their body in other ways. This may look like obstacle courses, games, dance parties and a variety of fun and inclusive activities. We are huge believers of play based learning and can incorporate fine motor into gross motor skill activities.

Innovative Community Participation

While we focus on in studio activities we can help build upon skills within the community and be an active member of the community. Whether it's trying a new hobby or engaging in activities you already enjoy. We will be there to ensure its enjoyful and fulfilling. Some examples are a bush walk, swimming, beach visit, park engagements or I can incorporate your choice of movement that can be done in the studio out in the community. 

Assistance can also be done during school sports days, carnivals and PE classes. Just ask.

Maintenance of muscle strength, balance, coordination, mobility and much more!

Like all movement increasing our strength, balance, mobility and coordination is another important area. Whether that's incorporating weights or just body weight, strength and resistance training can be included. Focusing on your goals and what you wish to get out of each session.
